Dermaplaning

The Million Dollar Look

 Dermaplaning

Brighter Smoother Skin

Dermaplaning rids your skin of clogged pores, vellus hair and makeup build, and creates clear channels into the skin as well as a soft and glowing skin surface. Million Dollar serum will then be applied to the skin, which contains completely natural and organic ingredients to ensure that skin is hydrated.

Topical creams and serums absorb 80% after a dermaplane as opposed to just 8% this giving your skin all the nourishment your skin needs to look healthy and glowing.

How Often is Dermaplaning Performed

Dermaplaning is usually performed every three to four weeks.  It is good to have the skin complete its normal rejuvenation cycle, which is thirty days, before going back and having the treatment done.

The procedure generally will remove between three to four weeks of dead skin from the facial area.

People who suffer from active acne or keloid scarring should not have dermaplaning performed

Million Dollar Dermaplane

Vellus / Terminal Hair

A huge misconception With dermaplaning is that the treatment encourages the hair to grow back darker and thicker than before.

This is where we love to educate people on the actual facts.

We are not changing the structure of the hair therefore the hair will continue to grow as it was before. Terminal hairs are thick, dense hairs deeply pigmented so they appear much darker than vellus hairs.

They also have deeper follicles then vellus hair so they start growing from further down in the dermis.

Women develop excess body or facial hair due to higher than normal levels of androgens, including testosterone. This is common in over 30s.

Hormonal hair should be waxed plucked tweezed or threaded.
