Million Dollar Facial The World’s Leading Facial

The Million Dollar Facial

This is the only facial in the world to combine some of the best non surgical procedures on the market.

This treatment is rapidly growing in popularity with our clients at Glow. This facial treatment is designed to deeply exfoliate dead skin cells and removes peach fuzz, leaving you with polished and glowing skin. This facial works from the outside in and helps to stimulate and increase the skins natural collagen and cell production.

Where Science Meets Indulgence

This treatment will heavily increase the absorption of any active ingredients by 80% opposed to 8% and includes the use of a hyaluronic acid mask and serums leaving maximum results. The Million Dollar Facial removes peach fuzz, flushes toxins, increases and stimulates your natural collagen, boosts cell turnover and polishes the skin.

The Million Dollar Process

The Million Dollar facial starts with one of our facial experts double cleansing the skin, removing oil, dirt and dead skin cells, which is followed by toning.

After the first two practices have been completed our beautician will then perform a skin analysis and apply a derma balm, which is used to rehydrate and revitalise dry and damaged skin.

This is followed by a dermaplaning treatment, where one our beautician will use a surgical blade to buff away dead skin cells and perform a deep exfoliation.

Dermaplaning rids your skin of clogged pores, vellus hair and makeup build, and creates clear channels into the skin as well as a soft and glowing skin surface. Million Dollar serum will then be applied to the skin, which contains completely natural and organic ingredients to ensure that skin is hydrated. This is then followed by a microneedling, where small fine needles on the roller puncture the skin. The holes that the needles help to break down scar tissue. Our beautician will then perform a lymphatic massage, which increases blood flow and is achieved through gentle and effective brushing motions.

After this process is complete, hydrating and brighten boosters are applied to the skin. The expert will then apply more of the Million Dollar serum and your face will be left exfoliated, hydrated and glowing.

The range incorporates a range of bioavailable actives with particular key functions.

Glycolic Acid

This Alpha Hydroxy Acid reduces the epidermal cycle duration by dissolving the sticky bond between skin cells and exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin. This helps to lighten discolouration, open pores and leave the skin firm, soft and smooth

Salicylic Acid

This Beta Hydroxy Acid is anti-bacterial and antimicrobial which effectively helps remove dirt and debris from pores. It also reduces inflammation and controls sebum production

Hyaluronic Acid

This natural humectant works to strengthen the skin's barrier by retaining moisture  producing an instant plumping effect

Vitamin A based molecule which has the ability to help unclog pores, even out skin discolouration and restore vibrancy to the complexion. Retinol can further reduce oiliness and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Peptide molecules signal your skin cells to produce new proteins and stimulate collage production. They are capable of penetrating the uppermost layers of skin as well as boasting anti-aging effects.

Million Dollar Male
Men need facials too, right? And here is why… A man’s skin is approximately 25% thicker than that of a woman. Shaving strips way up to two layers of skin, therefore men’s skin is prone to dehydration, sensitivity and in-growing hairs. Regular facials will aid hydration and exfoliate dead skin cells leaving them with a healthy, glowing complexion all year round

How much does it cost and how regularly can I have the Million Dollar Facial

Our Million Dollar Facial is not just a short term fix as it increases the skins absorption levels by up to 80% opposed to 8%, meaning all your skincare products will absorb deeper into the skin and therefore give you more long term benefits. It is also effective in creating a brighter and more even skin tone as well as reducing scarring and pigmentation. For those of you that prefer to avoid Aesthetic treatments to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, the Million Dollar Facial is the ultimate alternative.

The Million Dollar Facial can be performed every 4-6 weeks. For best results we recommend a course of 6 treatments, having a single treatment first then booking a course of 5.

This way you can see the fantastic results and feel confident in booking a course.

We charge £99 for a single treatment and a course of 5 treatments for £380 (saving £115).

Million Dollar Facial & Pregnancy

Its very hard to say as each person is different and nobody has ever tested products or done trials on pregnant ladies with skincare.

Whilst more advanced treatments such as million Dollar Facial or stand alone micro-needling , derma-planing and skin peels should be avoided, there are always alternatives.

Mini mdf & Superfacials are great alternatives and can be a super relaxing treat for an expecting mum.

Homecare can be selected but must have a full consultation as pregnancy skin can have its moments! With hormonal acne, rosacea , malasma (pregnancy mask) and hormones sometimes rearing their heads you can see why we need to be selective.

It’s no surprise that when you’re pregnant your skin changes. The rest of your body goes through its own transition, so why wouldn’t your complexion? When you’re pregnant skin can become more sensitive and some women might even experience bouts of acne, increased redness or or pigmentation (nicknamed ‘the mask of pregnancy’) where they didn’t before. (It’s worth noting too that if you already suffer from rosacea or psoriasis, these can be exacerbated by pregnancy.) But if you’re armed with the right pregnancy skincare regime, you can tackle these symptoms head on.

Here’s our roundup of the changes, how to treat them and which ingredients to avoid…

The main changes to skin when pregnant

Pregnancy brings about changes to your hormones, immune system, metabolism and blood vessels that influence the skin.

Hormonal Acne

A surge in progesterone causes your body to produce more sebum, which can lead to hormonal acne in pregnancy. And it may affect your whole body so you could see a sudden increase in back acne and blemishes on your face and neck .

If this is something that you’re suffering from, then it’s even more important that you include the right products in your pregnancy skincare regime.

For particularly oily, acne-prone skin, I recommend you try our Glyco wash and hydro serum These make for a great addition to your pregnancy skincare routine .

The Mask of Pregnancy

The most common skin concern during pregnancy is hyperpigmenation. According to the British Association of Dermatologists, it can affect up to 50% of women during their pregnancy, because hormones are slightly out of kilter and your body starts to produce more oestrogen. Combined with an increase in photosensitivity, this presents itself as large patches of discolouration on the face. The increase in oestrogen . Consistent sunscreen use will stop pigmentation from getting worse.’ You should be using a daily SPF of 30 or above anyway, but it is it particularly important during pregnancy, because your skin is more photosensitive.

Products to avoid ....

You must avoid retinoids, or vitamin A derivatives, such as Retin-A or Renova (Medi+ Retin A & Retinight), as well as salicylates, including products containing salicylic acid (also known as beta-hydroxy acid). These can all cause potential harm to your developing baby.

Products to consider...

You can also consider using glycolic acid or lactic acid (AHA) exfoliants as an alternative as these are perfectly safe to use during pregnancy. Sunscreen actives such as sheild 50+ as demonstrated in several studies, are not known to be a risk during pregnancy. Hyaluronic acid is super hydrating and can be a welcome Treat to dehydrated skin.

In theroy all medi+ products apart from Retinight and retinA can be used during pregnancy if monitored closely and have a full and thorough consultation with Lily-Rose Aesthetics.
